As a UI Developer for Blume Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Write code that is of high quality and consistent with our coding standards.
  • Work with lead engineers and architects in crafting technical designs.
  • Designing, implementing, and unit testing client-side user interface.
  • Maintain best practices for development/code changes as needed.
  • Assist in the design and architecture of our suite of software applications.
  • Serve as a member of a Scrum team and participate in all planning, stand-up and retrospective meetings.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with as many of the following is highly desirable: Isomorphic Smart client, Ext JS, Angular JS, React JS and JavaScript.
  • Must have advanced knowledge on AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3 and User Interface Standards Principles.
  • Must have experience developing JavaScript MVC frameworks like Isomorphic Smart client, BackboneJS, AngularJS, RequireJS (AMD), HTML Templates (Mustache, Handlebars), and CSS.
  • Experience with Agile software development in a UNIX/Linux environment.
  • Hands-on full cycle Web Development/UI/ Front end development experience.
  • Experience designing and executing responsive web applications.
  • Experience working with JavaScript Unit Testing (Jasmine, Jest).
  • Strong integration background required. Experience with REST, JSON and APIs is required.
  • Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with system architecture/design.
