Description

This position is based out of our HQ office in Pleasanton, CA. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a college graduate with 2- 3 years of experience who is motivated to start a career in technology sales.  Must have superb communication skills, be a self-starter who will take the initiative to learn about our products, and can handle the rigors of commission sales!  Must be driven, polished, and maybe even a little scrappy!   If you think you can give us the 3 A's  (Attitude, Ambition, & Action), then please apply and tell us why! 

 

Responsibilities

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate Blumes value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Manage complex sales throughout its lifecycle

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales capacity, ideally in software and/or supply chain, transportation, or logistics management industry
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including C-level
  • Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Ability to learn and pick up on our products and  articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Ability to position products against competitors
  • Some experience driving sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or higher degree or equivalent experience preferred 
  • At least 1 year of previous sales experience and/or the desire and drive to sell
  • Have the ability and confidence to achieve quota
  • Successful candidates will be highly motivated, a self-starter, have an aptitude to pick up on technology quickly, a networker extraordinaire, finds every opportunity to be in front of a potential customer, and doesn't sit around waiting for the business to come to them!
  • Ideally seeking local candidates or those who are willing to relocate to the Bay Area on their own
