What we are looking for:
The Product Marketing team at Blume Global is seeking an innovative Associate Product Marketer to focus on the areas of: Sales Enablement, Product Launches, Market & Competitive Intelligence & Thought Leadership

As an Associate Product Marketing Manager at Blume Global, you will work cross-functionally (sales, marketing, product management) to understand, shape and articulate the Blume product portfolio. This includes asset life-cycle management, optimization, logistics execution, visibility, and Finance. You are responsible for developing targeted product messaging and positioning, value propositions, thought leadership, and marketing/sales enablement programs to sell into various market categories.

Ideally, you are a self-starter, strategic thinker, highly collaborative, analytical, organized and passionate about our solutions. You thrive on delivering with urgency against aggressive targets and shifting priorities, and you have the ability to understand, translate and communicate complex capabilities into tangible business benefits and value propositions.

Summary Key Focus Areas:

  • Market Position – develop product positioning and messaging that is clear, defensible and differentiates the product in the market
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence – be the expert on the buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on the competition and how to beat them
  • Product Launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Sales Enablement Content – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support key product launches within the relevant customer segment and industries
  • Acquire deep insight into the markets with respect to customers, trends, and competition
  • Leverage key customer insights and data to develop accurate, relevant and impactful messaging, and work with internal teams to ensure its implementation across all channels
  • Leverage internal & external research to create customer personas/profiles, and identify and promote key use cases, that will help inform all messaging and marketing activities
  • Create & Maintain go-to-market collateral, sales material and competitive intelligence information to drive demand and enable the sales team; partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver launch and campaign assets
  • Build relevant sales plays, and support the enablement team in global sales training efforts

Requirements:

  • 1-3 Years Product Marketing, Consulting or Supply Chain Experience is essential
  • Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills
  • Energetic evangelist with a passion to drive market adoption of our products
  • Expertise in written and interpersonal communications
  • Strong collaborator and self-starter with the ability to assess and respond to competing and changing priorities
  • Analytic mind & strong problem-solving capabilities with a proven ability to analyze concepts, strategic opportunities, and competitive threats
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and a focus and attention to detail
  • Presentation skills to communicate complex subjects to C-level executives 
  • 4 year degree required  in marketing / business/ communications / supply chain related discipline from a top program
