The Director of Channel Sales is responsible for building long term, strategic relationships with current and future partners. This role assists in providing direction for current and new partners to ensure they meet business objectives and drive growth within a fast growing business and will be accountable to deliver on key metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account-selling strategies
  • Develop and execute education and certification program for alliances  
  • Support Blumes sales teams in their account development and alignment with alliances
  • Develop brand awareness and promotion activities involving alliances, such as industry events, partner events, company events, webinars, and seminars
  • Works with the Sales leaders and support team to develop and execute partnership programs to drive sales pipeline & close revenue opportunities
  • Collaborate with Sales leaders, Marketing, and Product Management to set business objectives, product roadmap, and partnership goals
  • Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.
  • Creating and nurturing executive relationships internally while also representing the Blumes executive team at client sites, industry conferences and trade shows, and with media/analysts
  • Maintains an accurate and up to date Salesforce.com documentation on activity and competent to generate reports for executive presentations
  • Drives operational excellence driving the Alliances P&L, key KPIs and commercial contracts

Requirements For Success:

  • Must have a strong background (7+ years’ experience) in developing strategic relationships in the ERP or supply chain solutions space, with an emphasis on Fortune 500 / Global 1000 companies
  • Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity.
  • Able to work reasonable off-hours to accommodate activities in other time zones
  • Track record of establishing and building partnerships that drive revenue toward annual sales goals
  • Consistently achieved or exceeded MBO’s and other targeted corporate revenue goals
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily US (but could be global)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a fast paced and growing company
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to present to executive level teams within Fortune 500 companies
  • Adept at negotiating contracts, with a keen eye to detail in legal documentation
  • BS or BA degree preferred, with an MBA a plus
